2020 Dodge Durango Cargo Bay Dimension, Seating Capacity, and More
When it comes to SUVs, utility is in the name: Sport Utility Vehicle. The 2020 Durango definitely has the “Sport” part down, with its available 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that does 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. But what about that pesky “Utility” bit?
How much cargo space does the 2020 Dodge Durango have?
Cargo Space Measurements
The 2020 Durango has three different measurements to go with its available three-row seating. Behind the third row, there is 17.2 cu-ft of space. Fold down the third row and you’ll get a much larger 43.3 cu-ft behind the second row. Fold down both rear rows for a maxed-out cargo bay of 85.1 cu-ft. No matter what you need to haul, the 2020 Durango is up to the task.
Two-row seating is standard on the base Durango SXT trim, meaning the standard seating capacity is five. Three-row seating is standard on every other Durango trim (and available on the SXT), though, which bumps the capacity up to seven. If you have three-row seating, the second-row bench seat can be swapped out for captain’s chairs, bringing the capacity to six.
Upholstery and Seating Features
The upholstery options are numerous. Cloth is standard on the SXT, but leather and suede are standard on all other trims. The top-tier SRT trim upgrades the leather to premium European Nappa leather. Tri-zone automatic climate control is standard on every Durango. Starting on the GT trim, a rear-seat, dual-screen entertainment system is available. Heated front seats are standard on every Durango. Heated second-row captain’s chairs are standard on the Citadel trim and above. Ventilated front seats are added with the premium SRT trim.
