The max towing rating is 12,750 lbs. This number is powered by the 5.7L HEMI V8 with eTorque. The engine puts out 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. If you prefer diesel, you can get similar numbers with improved gas mileage, up to 26 mpg. The 3.0L turbocharged V6 EcoDiesel produces 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Either choice is a great option.

If you’re looking for absolute maximum payload, though, then you’ll have to look to the 3.6L V6 engine. It can haul a whopping 2,100 lbs. However, this gain in payload comes at the cost of towing capacity.
